Nook Coffee Bar was founded in 2018 by three friends – Edward Kim, Chris Lee, and David Choi. Their shared passion for high-quality coffee and creating a welcoming space for the community drove them to open this specialty coffee shop. We are part of a thriving community of Korean-owned coffee businesses in LA’s Koreatown neighborhood.

Cute and aesthetic coffee shop !! Their matcha is amazing. However, hazelnut coffee tastes plain. Matcha is a better choice. Fast and quick service. I’d highly recommend stopping by.

Without a doubt, Nook serves the most consistent and best-tasting coffee, matcha, and pastries in Costa Mesa. The staff is always warm and welcoming, the espresso shots are reliably tasty (I love that crema), and the overall vibe is consistently positive. To my knowledge, it’s also the only place in town where you can pick up traditional Danish pastries.
